Although the Society was formed in 1968, it was not until January 1970 that the first newsletter was produced – a two -sided sheet run off on a spirit duplicator.
A wealth of information has been compiled and published over the years, and in January 2020, fifty years after that first edition, we reached issue number 410. We thought it might be fun for people to compare how the style had changed over the years!
If you click on either of the images below, you can download a copy of that newsletter.
(It is possible to buy a data CD with all 50 years’ editions on – the cost is £40 (including postage); this also includes the latest copy of the index to the newsletters. An order form for this is at the bottom of the page.)
